AP:  Chile - Dead fish float at the Nilahue river after the eruption of the Puyehue-Cordon Caulle volcano in Rininahue, southern Chile, Wednesday, June 8, 2011.  The volcano erupted Saturday after remaining dormant for decades, causing the evacuation of about 3,500 people in the nearby area and carrying ash across the Andres to Argentina.

My Comments:  It would seem that with millions of fish dying elsewhere on the planet, there is a connection to these volcanic eruptions, frequent earthquakes...

Thousands More Fish Die in Ventura Harbor

4/18/11, ABC News:  Thousands more dead fish have washed up in Ventura Harbor.  This is the second large fish die off Southern California this year.  This time, thousands of dead fish are floating in Ventura Harbor, according to Pat Hummer, Senior Patrol Officer at the harbor.  The majority of them are sardines and anchovies, but perch were also spotted.
